Ida, I just glimpsed the ad, but if it`s who I think it is, he got $425 last year and the renter told him to shove it, he offered it to a young friend of mine for $380, who countered with "$300".  The deal must not have went through at $300, so he`s trolling on CL.   if this is who I think it is.  That`s some light soil in that area, I think anyone offering much over $200 is apted to lose their butt, especially at this late date to hedge the `15 crop.

I can`t think of his name, but I hear that the former tenant is the "48 row planter guy" that had crop insurance trouble, talk is bankers are saying "NO money for you!".   I hear out your way a guy higherup  in a prominent organization stepped down and lost some rented ground.  Those that were saying "we`ll never go through the 80`s again" ...i don`t know, it might be worse this time.
