We are indeed wet...almost six inches in NC, and pushing that here in VA. It is still falling, and tomorrow is not looking any better, either. It's been about eleven days since we saw the sun.
Luckily, the cows were moved here to Mike's homeplace in June. This farm is blessed with hills, has one of the highest elevations in our county.
We learned our lesson last winter, when we let the grazing tenant stay here too long to relocate out of the muck down south. It wasn't pretty. Hard on them and Mike.
I am glad he is proactive about lagoon levels. He gets them way down in summertime. Even so, we are happy that Joaqchin hung a right turn....
