Mike- you are more than welcome to come along if you want. It is only 1,600+ acres and all the farms are within 8 miles of each other. I would enjoy showing you my small Farm Operation. It used to be that 1,600 acres in northern Iowa was a good sized operation, but just in the last 20 years Iowa farm operations have gotten alot bigger as you know, But just this 1,600+ acres has done a good job in supporting my family once I got all the farmland loans payed off. Having a land cost of only the Iowa Property Tax of $25/acre.helps big time..

rsw, a mile long and a mile wide is a section. 640 acre tract, in one piece is rare in north iowa. I've gotten a cerro gordo plat book, so just make sure you know the legals (twp., section, etc.) of all you property.

Lord only knows whose farms you will be looking at. You want to come to Oklahoma and look at my 10000 acre spread? We won't go to western Ok to look at the mere 3000 acres there. My acres are those with those metal storks with the big round tanks standing beside them. They are a **bleep** nuscience at planting time.
