The only boss you have in this life wears a skirt and hangs around your house. Where you make your mistake as you use way too many I's in your dialogue and not enough we's.
Try a little humility Richard and it might help your cause and don't forget marcia's role in all of that. Now i know that is plumb wicked but you drove us to it. In addition I will add that I started with nothing and I still have it. But carolyn and I worked together and raised corn and beans and thousands of hogs and nearly went broke during the 80's. She stuck with me in goods times and bad and it's doubtful that I could have done it without her.
She did alot of sorting hogs and clipping teeth and tails and casterating the little critters. And she worked ground and ran the combine and walked the beans along with me. Everything I have is equally hers. My first farm we bought with $25K down. No preowned land for collatteral. Not by her and not by me.
Of course we have nothing that looks like your empire. Evidently we are not the manager that you are. But we have had alot of dirty hands hog crap on our clothes and earned most of what we have. I don't own my mother's land. I don't own my kid's land. WE own what we bought and paid for. We are not superior to anyone.
Probably luckier than most. and grateful for what we have both in property and in off spring.
So if I am to brag it will be about my wife and my kids nd my grandkids as because that is all that is really important. Our assets such as they are, are not worthy of comments. Most of the guys on these threads have accomplished that or are on the path to accomplishing that. Why? Because they are farmers and have committed their lives to their acheivements. They are a glorious bunch. They go to the field and throw thousands of dollar in imputs with most everything at risk and they do their damnest to be a success.
They don't need a daily dose of bragidoccio. They are doing to the best of their ability and bless them for their efforts. Give them a little respect if you possibly can. I know it will be a challenge.
