Jones Gets 24 Years For Wallace Murder
Apparently, the subject of dicamba did not come up in the murder trial of Allan Curtis Jones for shooting Mike Wallace seven times in an apparent argument over alleged herbicide damage. The prosecuter asked for 1st degree but the jury decided on 2d degree murder. Seven shots. Jones must have been pretty scared that Wallace would get up and attack him. Of course, maybe some of the seven shots missed. I don't know.
Jones is out on bond, as I read the stories.
Iowa had a guy shot and dumped down a well, now people are irked because they think their pear tree was damaged by spray drift. Farming can be a dangerous business.
