Joni Says No Military Meatless Mondays

Sen. Joni Ernst, (R) IA has introduced legislation in the Defense Authorization Act that would not allow the military dining facilities to have what the Humane Society of the United States is calling for, meatless Mondays.

Usual spin from both sides of the issue.

It would seem to me that if a person in the military doesnt want to eat meat they can probably get along fine in the present chow line.  Double up on the mac & cheese, eh?  No need to remove meat from the menu of those who prefer it.

An army marches on its stomach...needs real nutrition, not Ramen!
