Barclay's got caught in Europe manipulating the LIBOR rate, so we're all paying for this mess.

The answer isn't to have regulators bust the chops of everybody in the business.

The answer is to hire regulators who understand the business.  A little bit of spot checking would have caught that years ago.

Not unlike the banks where they could basically pick their supervising entity.
