Just a couple of thoughts from the combine today.

1.  Conspiracy theories in general assume some deep thought and long term planning.  Leadership has proven over and over again, president to president, that there is not a lot of time in a 4 year term to be a deep thinker.  They do the best to support the electorate or doners who get them elected then it is over.  How on earth does any group that can pull of a nationally televised hoax of demolishing major structures with the help of internationally trained enemy conrads _=+++++++  WELL  lets just say it takes sharp intelligence and planning to pull of a conspiracy that takes self anointed "experts" to understand.  Why can't those folks write a decent piece of legislation.  Usually the conspiracy theory takes longer to compose than the length of the actual events.

2.  It is very agricultural to assume that the motivation for every event that has ever happened is greed, or profit motive.  If the farmer down the road buys a field he is a greedy fool.  Always.   ----------------  

I doubt that greed ,   even corporate greed --- which does not exist,  what we mean is profit margin,  you know that evil thing that insures we have a job next year--------- I doubt greed is even close to being a major motivator of evil or events of international scope in the world.  Can't be anywhere close to ego and power.  I been trying to sort out who in WW2 was the greedy winner of all the cash.  It is just too simple an answer.

But one thing does come to mind on those lines.  On the occasion a natural resource of value like rubber or oil, or diamonds, or maybe a strategic location ------ exists in an area of primitive social developed countries.  ie the middle east, or se asia, panama, Lousiana etc.    This idea of being nice and trying to help the existing leadership improve their country while providing the stability of military protection in the area is a waist of time as commerce develops in the area.

Or hoping to develop strong trade and cultural activity with our country instead of with other world powers-------- it is just not as simple and effective as going in, killing the few in leadership, establishing martial law and taking over until the minerals are drained, then granting independence and leave.

The colonial way------- the way europe gained most of its wealth, so they could someday look down on the united states for owning too many guns and gmo crops.

These are rediculous mental exercises we will continue to go through as long as youtube is considered a credible source of information.

Honestly, I think a conspiracy of this magnitude, if it exists, occurs at a level that would be well above that of our " government". There are many known groups that have histories hundreds of years deep, others that operate in the shadows, that have been around at least for many decades.

There are some who say our givernment is too disorganized ( or at least factionalized) to accomplish things of this magnitude. What this ignores is that the apparent portions of 9/11 only took a handful of men, diverting commonplace civilian resources, to creat highly visible impacts with chaos ensuing in certain sectors. Mostly, they made us fearful as a people.

Ego's and legacy building------------ passed on to a slow stubborn VP chosen only because votes were needed in a big state.  Followed by another of the worlds record egos that proved itself to be more than just a little "unhinged".  Richard didn't need utube to balance a pretty good conspiracy in his own head.  But Mr Nixon would be honored if we chose to elevate him to an international conspiracy pawn.

Do conspiracy theories exist ------------------ always.  They sell movies, and novels, and entertain and people want to believe in something more.  PT Barnum stuff.

Do long term multigenerational powerful, course of history changing, conspiracies exist?  Probably not with humans in charge.  We can't even split up moms jewelry.  But we will probably believe anything that does not have a God involved.
