Operating costs

So how do you folks figure your operating cost for cost per acre?  If you get your combine fixed/updated this year, certainly you don't take all the expense on this years cost per acre?  I have done a spreadsheet with seed costs, chemical costs, insurance and rents, but have not done a total operating cost with equipment usage, labor etc.

I charge myself custom rates for machinery operations. Easier than tyro g to figure all the costs like fuel repairs allocating tractor costs among several entree prizes. And you can see if profit is from the crops or other enterprise or if its from machine operations
