So much for Iowa Corn Flake's assesment of Iowa land prices.
Anywho, the Rooks co land brought $1325 an acre,
They also sold some in Norton county the next day, two tracts. Tract one brought $4,000, tract two brought $3600. Freaggin' crazy.

I have no idea what the Return on Investment Ratio is for this Rush County farmland, but would anyone care to guess the ROI Ratio? Afterall, this Ratio is what is driving farmland values up.

Not real familiar with those areas. Why that big a spread in price?

Just guessing, but probably dryland vs. irrigated.

Norton co has been getting rain the last few years. Rooks Co has been lucky to even see the clouds. Happened again last night.

Re: Rooks Co Kansas land auction
Maybe. $1325 is low compared to recent sales here if it good quality. Maybe some grass involved?
