Re: Syngenta 162 Settlement

Syngenta has recently made $1.5 billion available to farmers, as well as ethanol plants and grain trading facilities, who used the company’s GMO Agrisure Vipterain corn strain before September 15, 2013. The product, whose purpose was to protect corn crops against insects, had been unauthorizedly commercialized on the U.S. market before receiving regulatory approval from China. As a consequence, agricultural businesses all across the U.S. suffered financial losses of $1 billion to $2.9 billion within the 5 years of Agrisure Vipterain employment, since China would no longer represent a viable country of export during that time.

Nowadays, everyone whose business was affected by the use of Syngenta’s unapproved product is eligible for compensation from the settlement, which can be easily accessed by filing a claim with the aid of a specialized lawyer. While the process requires no litigation, the assistance of a lawyer whose primary area of practice focuses on environmental cases is crucial, as they have the necessary resources and skills to help you obtain the maximum amount of money you are entitled to. Furthermore, they will take care of most of the paperwork on your behalf so that you can dedicate your time to more important or urgent matters. The compensation you will receive depends on the extent to which your business was damaged. Syngenta will begin paying out compensation to claimants within the first half of 2019.

If you find yourself in this situation, I strongly encourage you to take legal action and recover the money you deserve, which may not only help your business grow, but will also hold Syngenta liable for their unethical behavior. With the assistance of a specialized attorney, the process is very easy to navigate and you will not be required to spend countless hours chasing the compensation you are eligible for, since their legal team will efficiently attend to the most complex and time-consuming aspects of your case.

Re: Syngenta 162 Settlement

So the way that is written it looks like Syngenta will be able to claim damages from Syngenta.

And maybe even shoppers who are saw increased costs by trying to buy goods that did not

contain Syngenta production.
