Re: Syngenta Lawsuit
I don't know if Syngenta should be held to the fire. Farmers bought it and did damage to the value of our export market. Maybe there should be a little self policing and form a class action against the farmers who bought it. LOL Lawsuits are ridiculous, but they are increasing the cost of everything consumers buy everyday while lawyers get fatter and fatter. At the end of the day, China could probably care less, but it's a great economic weapon for them.

Re: Syngenta Lawsuit
With the risk of sounding old,
society has always had parasites who survive on the crumbs of the economic pie....
It seems to me that an ever growing share of our population looks at a parasite career is an honorable choice....

Re: Syngenta Lawsuit
SW - Seems ''' parasitic actions ''' have created all kinds of reactions in todays economic climate --- I have witnessed them from corperate elite to the so called crumb survivors --- with ''legal council'' either designing the legislation or representing them and pretending there is only quick sand on one end or the other is kind of interesting--- A legislative watch in either Kansas ,Nebraska , or Oklahoma I have witnessed all bills and amendments passed have legal perameters set by representation that have a majority of legal profession--- Should Kansas blame thier $$$ problems strictly on the crumbs of what part ? Tax Cuts are an interesting - '''place your bet here ''' cause it's legal ---

Re: Syngenta Lawsuit
generally that is my thought 289,
The taxpayer is forking up "fix it" dollars in massive amounts for almost everything and everybody, there is a stampede to the check out line before the sale ends.
And the stampede to get somebody else's money is evident with the legal scramble to cash in on the China trait soap opera.
Bird flu....... who would have thought that to be a "public" problem..... in years past................. but then we didn't regulate the bird with ever growing layers of well meaning demands..... and what do we do if a new age idea/become law proves to spawn new virus promoting conditions............
I think about Don always hopping in in defense of the working man.......... If we really study the economic dynamics of this countries cash flow and every possible system of taxation we will continue to come up with the economic burdon placed heavily on the working citizens. The majority will always carry a greater tax burdon....
But that continues to be our ongoing solution............ fix it with, not the robin hood method--it is a myth, but take from the taxpayer of the future and give to the squeeling problem today.
Even on a local basis,,,, our city and county commissioners gave tax breaks to encourage industry...... happens all the time....
Now every citizen group who wants to use a county facility free of charge is upset if they get denied a waiver of fees..... Years ago we would not have thought of asking for a waiver.
Don is right totally by accident,,,,,, the taxpayer/working man is in big trouble.....
And it is easy to spout the "Rich and International Corporations" get the benefit....... but it is a hollow complaint when General Motors Labor force was at the head of the latest line of mega hand outs........
