So here is some profound things for the Business page.
Daughter has been trying to purchase container and chemicals to ship **bleep** from the US to her in Canada.
Breeder in US is onside.
Vet in US is onside.
!st supplier of equipment could not process her Canadian credit card to pay for it so no deal.
Breeder offered to pay with their card. Daughter will reimburse them.
Now the chemicals need to be shipped to Canada so different supplier.
They found they could not input a Canadian address into their computer system.
As my Daughter said probably when they got that far they would find they could not use a Canadian credit card too.
Isn't Visa international???
Now all goes to Vet in US and they will send it on.
Wonder if they can take a Canadian card to pay for it???

Hi Canuck, we've updated the forum's profane words filter to allow "semen." I don't think it's retroactive on posts, however. You can editor you posts as needed.

Re: US Business not in business
The **bleep** in the above message is the 'fluid' produced by males to inseminate females.
It is just amazing what words some consider "bad".

Re: US Business not in business
Thanks Matt.
It really does not make a lot difference what words are considered 'profane'.
Everyone has some words that make them cringe and do not bother others.
I had an aunt who was born and raised in England and some of the words she used routinely in all sorts of circumstances made some of her Canadian family cringe at times. She loved the word 'bloody'. Everything was bloody good, bloody bad or bloody hell for other situations.
Most posters seem to be able to find a way around the filter with misspellings that leave no doubt as to what they are trying to use.
I just get surprised sometimes by what someone, somewhere else, thinks is 'bad'.

Re: US Business not in business
I battled with the filter for a couple of days last year over a post I made on the women's page about my children and the Tooth Fairy. I ended up with having to type Tooth F---Y, I think. Innocence lost....

Re: US Business not in business
And, like many enterprises, it is running itself ragged. Infrastructure is deteriorating, many public services are being privatized, and the social safety net has been crumbling for decades. The United States is no different from China or Russia. Only we have a one-party state disguised as a two-party state, how Britain does it in london IT support company. The candidates are chosen long before the public has a say. They are frequently only given a choice between preferred candidates. When we elect the "outsider," they suddenly become just as much of an insider as everyone else.
