Wheat conditions
Out looking around yesterday.
Saw alot of burned wheat
Sure hasn't tillered much
Ground dry
Early planted bigger wheat is turning blue
In 80's yesterday and today
Tomarrow night in upper teens lower 20's
USDA says wheat is in some the worst conditions
In history, for this date.
Nws shows little if any rain next 7 days...maybe
.10 to .2 which will be gone in a few hours and
Will not really help, other than wet the dust.
And wheat goes down a dime

Re: Wheat conditions
Spring snows seldom have an affect on corn acres but always stress the cows. Today cows in sw are in 94 degree wind at 40 mph. Will be 24 degrees Saturday morning —- that’s tough on cows.

Re: Wheat conditions
I used to watch livestock for sickness if we had a 40 degree 24hour change. This spring 65 degree 24 hour changes have been common. Setting up to be another 2011.
