things must be getting bad

I have (or had) a stash of about 200 bales
at the south place. It is remote. I figured
I would get rid of some. So we drove down
There and my eyes about fell out
Of their sockets, more than half gone.

Ain't that nice......last summer on my
Backup combine, they took a radiator,
had to get a used one for $600.

Think I might run for sherrif.....shoot
first, ask if they are dead a couple weeks
Later.

Think I' d keep wuiet and stick up a couple of those inexpensive game cameras. Walmart has some passable ones for $50. Put a big- enough SD card in the cover a few days of shots, and put them in inconspicuous spots.

Re: things must be getting bad

Thank you for the thought Kay.
Our crooks are getting smart.
they look first, and either take the
Camera, or take a shotgun after it.
One deputy told me the s.o. bought
50 of them. Most were stolen or
Shot!

I know of an option, but more money.
eco outdoor products makes a unique
camera, it takes a picture, converts to
Txt file, and within a matter of seconds
The photos are in some computer
Somewhere,....if they think they smart
And take it, whenever it sends a picture, a
GPS reading taken.....so we can track
Them

The cameras from $175.
The similar card is free from art, and it is
$19.99/no (some places $22) for UNLIMITED
PHOTOS. That you can see on computer/smart phone in one minute.

Can be used for other farm chores too.

Re: things must be getting bad

Camera loss is always a risk you take. I like the sound of the one you are talking about, but does it need a link to the Internet to send the pictures? It sounds like it has Lojack installed...

Name brand and source for the camera?

Re: things must be getting bad

Don't kid yourself cheapo. If you had them somewhat hidden, it's probably someone you know. I had over 400 gallons of fuel siphoned from my equipment that was locked in my shed one winter. How they got it, I have no idea but they did no damage. The neighbor slipped up one day and I picked up on his lingo, needless to say he is on my short list now.

Re: things must be getting bad

Good neighbor saggy, could not have
been me. A couple years ago I had to
Break into one of our sheads..

(Someone disked to key into the ground)

I got thru the window, going to swing
my leg around, got high centered. I got
"Tickled" by some maid I put thru the
Bottom of the window sill. Got to moving
And fell into the building. Limped for a week!

(Maid=nails).

Kay. I think it is eco outdoor products.
They have one called panda, looks like
A panda face.

Nope, no internet connection, it is using
att. Cell tower. The sim card is basicly
a cell phone.
From what a geeky friend told me if
You take a photo with a cell phone, encoded is the GPS location in the file.

Moltrie has one, so does smart tracker, but
Run $20 for about 60 pictures.

I'm thinking of trying one at a remote
Pasture with a solar pump. Put the camera
On a pole, throw a ball in the tank so
I can see how much water/pump working,
plus when the cows drink/move around,
the girls get their picture taken, so you
Do two things at once.

So, you can check everything by looking
On your computer, while dressed in your
Jockey shorts.

Re: things must be getting bad

Put a cheap one visable and a good one watching that one had problems on state ground with game cameras and stands being stolen. Also cameras hidden at ancle height dont seem to get noticed people are looking waist hight or highter for cameras.

Re: things must be getting bad

Sorry folks, the name of the company
is hco outdoors. Rather than eco.

I think I've figured it out. If I put
Stuff at a couple key intersections, I've
Got them.
