Page Width Issue Being Addressed

We are aware there is a page width issue across the site and are working on it.  Thanks to those who have reported it.

I would like to report  that posts are  being deleted by someone  that has no guts.

Posts are deleted when they violate the terms of service members agreed to when joining the site.  Among the violations of terms of serv ice are profanity and vulgarity (including "cute" spellings to try to avoid the fillters), personal attacks, racial or cultural attacks, inappropriate graphics, solicitations, spam, phishing, posts that are designed to demean the site and so forth.

This site is established by Meredith to promote Successful Farming and is oriented to wholesome, family discussion of a wide range of agricultural topics.

From the Admin staff:

"I believe this issue was caused by a fix to another issue, where ads were
not displaying correctly on tablets. I’ve asked them to revert that fix
and we should then be back in business (should be taken care of early
Monday). "

I hope they can get it figured out soon. I used to check the marketing forum on a daily basis, I never really had much useful information to add, but there were people sharing that had good information. They have all seemed to have disappeared, and the site is pretty much unusable otherwise.  I miss it.

From our support team:

"Confirming this issue was resolved today. It was caused by a rogue
wallpaper (ad) that was fixing the page width at 1600px. In other word, it
wasn’t allow for the proper breaks at various sizes.
You should not see this again, but of course, let me know if you do.
 "

Still a mess on my computer. I don't see any change. Maybe it is time to admit defeat and return to the previous system. There might be a small possibility of regaining a few of your previous posters, but less likely every day.

Still messed up on windows. Works on firefox. However on firefox it doesn't mark the threads I have a post in. Very slow at loading also.

Running Windows on Internet Explorer is not resolved.  I find it ironic when I hit Message Listing on the forum page it takes me to page 2909 on 5-18-2010 and the first topic is RE: THIS FORMAT IS HORRIBLE.
