Ractopamine question

I saw a blurb where Smithfield was pushing to increase their supply of ractopamine free pork so they could get more to China.

I don't know what percentage of their output is their own hogs but assume that moving them off ractopamine would be a simple matter.

As far as the portion sourced from outside, how much premium per head (or cwt) would they need to pay to get producers to provide them?

Every bit of hog parts heading off on a boat is good hog parts.

The monoculture has itself in a bit of a genetic trap that plays huge in the matter. 

And there essentially any left of what might help with a fix.
