Why the drop in pork futures?

I was wondering what others thought of the drop?  Everything I have been reading has been bullish...less production, good demand.  What am I missing.

World economy and the markets.  Packers will kill fewer days and hours  anything to get the price of hogs back down.  I got one small load sold at $68.   That was fun.

Europe is worrisome in particular right now:

Stocks slumped Tuesday as the euro touched a fresh four-year low versus the dollar, keeping Europe's woes front and center and overshadowing better-than-expected earnings from big U.S. retailers.

Mike also mentioned to me earlier today that Lowe's had reported that it's not doing very well right now...I haven't followed up on that, but he said stocks went lower after their report.
