ROPS for Jubilee Ford
I am looking for a ROPS for a 1953 Ford Tractor. New or used, I would take either. I do not seem to find a company that makes them. Or I would buy a used one if in good condition. I would appreciate any help.....Soyroy

Re: ROPS for Jubilee Ford
If wanting a real ROPS then buy a different, newer tractor. If just wanting a canopy or FOPS you might find something. That tractor's rear axle doesn't have the structural capability to mount a ROPS; it wouldn't pass a ROPS test and could fail in an actual roll over. No manufacturer is going to expose themselves to such a liability. Possibly could design a system that "wraps around" the transmission/differential case that would handle the structural loads/ but it would be a real eyesore and pretty much one-of-a-kind; probably you would be the only buyer. If not operating on any significant slope, just forget-about-it. Otherwise buy a newer tractor that was designed to accommodate an actual ROPS.

Re: ROPS for Jubilee Ford
I got a ROPS for my Oliver from Saginaw County Tractor. They don't advertise for Ford, but who knows? The price is right.

Also, try Yesterday's Tractors . Go to the Ford section and search on jubilee rops. There are some hints, altough I didn't see a specific hit right offf the bat. But, some leads.
