The Ultimate UTV Evaluation

This September, we are heading to Wyoming to test the newest UTVs on the market. Our team of experienced evaluators will ride each machine through flat fields, rolling rangeland, and narrow mountain pathways. After each ride, evaluators will complete an extensive evaluation form ranking performance by 12 key categories:

  • Access to engine and transmission
  • Location of controls and gauges
  • Ease of shifting transmission
  • Ease of engaging four-wheel drive, differential lock
  • Steering responsiveness and maneuverability
  • Acceleration
  • Ease of maintaining a constant speed on the trail
  • Braking
  • Noise level
  • Overall rider comfort
  • Cargo and storage
  • General fit and finish

Is there anything else you’d like to see on this list? What characteristics are most important to you when purchasing a utility vehicle? Let us know and we’ll work your recommendations into the evaluation!
