I am looking at updating my planter from an 8 row JD 1750. We are all no-till and I am looking at a used 2008 Case-IH 16 row 1240. I have no experience with this planter. Curious if this planter setup would have adequate down pressure for double cropping beans after wheat on the hot Kansas plains? How well does it like wet cold soils for corn planting? What is the seed spacing like? Replies appreciated.
