Re: 1988 JD 4650 sold for $59,500 - video

Spoiler

Don't be shocked,50.55,60 series tractors of that caliber in this area would bring that kind of money all day long! LOok at the value compared to the cost of the new,and then realize that if the new takes a sh*t you have to have a dealer bring out a laptop to reboot the sob. 50,55,60 series tractors were built to last most a career,(they are a hot commodity!)

Would the 50, 55, & 60 series be comparable to CIH 71XX, 72XX & 89XX series of magnums?

Re: 1988 JD 4650 sold for $59,500 - video

Shaggy, I've been exact same new record high auction sale prices on nice condition CaseIH Magnums, from 7110's, 7120's, 7130, 7140, 8930, 8940, 8950's....like previous post said....greatly increasing buyer demand for these good condition older model, lower hour used tractors that are simpler to work on and folks have a ++ history with.

Re: 1988 JD 4650 sold for $59,500 - video

Thanks for the info Pete, but I wasn't referring to the $ value of the machines. I was curious if the tractors themselves were comparable in features, hydraulic output, horsepower, etc, etc, etc,...

I am curious to know if you know how much this would have sold for in 1988.
