9030 Ford / Versatile tractor
Just bought a 9030 bi-directional Ford / Versatile tractor. Thought it would make a good utility tractor for a loader, snowblower or fork lift working off the "cab end.". Any experience with this tractor?
When taking off the loader on the cab end does it need supports to hold it up after taking off the tractor or does it balance itself?

Only did it once, but I think it just rests on the wraparound frame and the bucket. Don't remember having to block it.

Re: 9030 Ford / Versatile tractor
Still working on uses for my 9030 bi-directional tractor. We moved the three point arms around to the "back" (cab end of the tractor). The three point doesn't drop low enough to use it for much. Are there longer linkage arms that allow it to drop lower?
One use we were trying to do yesterday was to put on a three point fork lift on that rear three point. It will not lower enough to allow the forks low enough to get into a pallet on the ground.

I don't know about that, but I do have a neighbor who has a swather that hooks to the 'back' of his, and he says it is the best system he has ever used. For a big operator, I think you could have one mounted that way, and a swing-tongue in back, and cover a lot of ground fast.
