Need help bad. Combine will cut off with or without load. Have to pump fuel system up. Cannot find the problem. JD mechanic had been riding combine with me for 2 days. Happens whenever. It has never happened when combine is "cold" or air is cool. Might not be related but it is the only thing I have come up with. Afraid to travel on highway and really need to change to a field about 15 miles away on the 4 lane highway. Jd mechanic goes home at quitting time regardless..what can I say...makes me want to go red.
That's what it sounds to me. Had the same thing on a red one a couple years ago had a slug in the fuel line on the suction side. It got caught at an elbow. We messed around quit a few hours. Make sure you blow the lines out really good.
