Just saw some information about this company in Kenya called Mobius Motors. They manufacture really inexpensive, basic 4-wheel-drive rigs for "driving on rough African roads." The company's website says they "omit many non-essential features while maintaining essential functionality."
So, what do you think? If you could, would you shell out $6K for one of these rigs? They look pretty cool, I think. Sounds like they make them to be real workhorses.
