Checking 7130 magnum hydraulic oil level?
The hydraulic dip stick is this very long rod and it is nearly impossible to see the oil level on it. We have to make sure the level is above full since the upper chamber in the tractor sends air to the planter hydraulic lines making everything run wonky even if you are at the full mark. We don't want to fill it to a crazy level either. Anyone come up with a solution to this? Thanks.

I've got the same problem with my 7140. Needless to say the rear end oil dipstick is less than stellar. We just check it several times to be certain it is at the full level. I also pull a vacuum planter driven hydraulically and maintaining the oil level at the full mark has never given me any issues.
