Gasline Antifreeze

Seems as though the engine answer man has taken an extended leave of absence, so I won't waste my time in that forum.  With most pump gas at my location is E10, do I even need to add "Heet" or gasline antifreeze since the pump product already contains 10% alcohol?

No. Especially now with electric in tanks fuel pumps.

Nope. The gas stations and convenience stores used to sell the heck outta that stuff during really cold weather. When was the last time anyone even suspected a gas line freezing.? I think it did help with condensation buildup in the tank. I've also wondered if fuel injection vs. carburetors has lessened this old problem.

If I remember right from chemistry class (many moons ago), "Heet" is methanol which is one carbon link shorter than ethanol. It essentially works the same in fuel tank. That means if you have 20 gallons of gasoline made of 10% ethanol, you already have 2 gallons of gasline antifreeze in your tank. Another pint of methanol isn't going to do much. Probably important to keep gas tank near full, then there'll be less condensation.

Another option that I've been considering is move somewhere warmer!

I have a golf cart for about 15 years that sits outside my back door outside all year round last winter was the coldest winter we've ever had and I've never had any problems with the fuel line freezing up on that

Come to think of it, our golf cart hasn't ever froze up either. Oh shucks, I forgot it's electric. HA HA
