Re: Greatest Tractors of All Time . . .let the debate begin!!!!!!
I had too many great tractors to really have to chose and each had their special place. John Deere B 1935 through 1944 models, John Deere 70 Diesel. Then I discovered Oliver 77 Diesel 1951 and is now in hands of a restorer and then my favorite ended up being Cockshutt 570 Diesel when I left the farm. Gifford

Re: Greatest Tractors of All Time . . .let the debate begin!!!!!!
I have a JD 4040 powershift that would get my vote. I don't think there ever has been or will be an easier tractor to drive. Cab is fairly quiet, heat, ac, power steering. It'll turn on a dime. Power shift and scv controls are easy.
It needs another gear between 2nd - 3rd and between 4th -5th. It would also be nice if it would start below 45 degrees.
