JD 332 Diesel L&G Tractor Rear Seal Leak

I have replaced the right rear axle seal on my 332 twice, very carefully the first time, very VERY carefully the second time, still leaks the hydro fluid when the transaxle is full.  I worked at a JD shop when a teenager, always did my own repairs with shop manuals on CD.  Don't understand it, axle bearing has no play.  Any one else with a baby diesel had this problem, and can tell me how to fix it?

Re: JD 332 Diesel L&G Tractor Rear Seal Leak

I ran into this on an Eaton rear driver once. The seal had wore a light groove into the spindle. You can find out if this is your case by laying a straight edge on it. Proper fix would be to weld it up and lathe it down but JBWeld was still on it when I sold that Peterbilt.
