JD 9570 low fuel pressure, has little power and smokes

I have a 2008 JD 9570 that has low fuel pressure at the rail, is low on power and smokes a lot. JD mechanics has been working on it for three days and haven't figured it out. Sometime changing the fuel filters helps but lately does no good. Today they replaced two valves that were going to help but did not. Anybody have a similar problem?

Bad or mising fuel pickup?  Bad fuel pump?  Turbo or intake problems?

Does it hit on all cylinders?  possibly bad injector.

Had a problem on my Holiday Rambler RV in Montana about three weeks ago. It has a 5.9 Cummins in it. Hesitating, no power.  Spent 3 days in shops. Changed fuel filters twice. Then a mechanic put computer on it and it was a defective fuel pump not putting enough pressure to injectiors. called a charge pump. Now it runs just great

Had similar symptoms and difficulty diagnosing with a red one years ago.

Fianlly put two and two together- the day before it began I'd experienced mild vandalism overnight, presumably from some of the neighborhood's fine youth. 

Turned out that they'd also stuffed some corn stalks in the fuel tank.

As I recall we drained and refilled the tank several times while straining the fuel as it went back into the bulk tank, unhooked the main supply line and blew it out and did a couple more filter changes.

we have a 9670 that did something similar. it was the turbo actuator.

not knowing this machine at all but does it have a charge air cooler?
