Illinois is saying that machinery costs have generally risen 15% over the last two years. The rpice of a 215 hp tractor is up 18% from 181,500 to 215,000. Combines costs have decreased because they are conisdered to cov er more acres (but that doesn't mean the purchase pricre is lower). Interest rates are lower and that is holding increases down a litte.
