NH3 meter question
I have a red Continental NH3 meter (6000). I'm having trouble getting it to put on enoughNH3. Can't find any troubleshooting guides, was wondering if it could be a diaphraghm problem or the manifold? Adjustment knob turns freely.
Thanks,
John

Re: NH3 meter question
Do you have a break away coupler near the trailer hitch and a screen? The screen may be full of rust. Check it. If your break away isn't big enough or working properly, that could be your problem.

Re: NH3 meter question
Screen was clear and only putting on 65 lbs/N so I believe the coupler is not a factor. After talking to the dealer I believe the metering rod was sticking and it was so old that Continental will not rebuild it, so I bought a new meter and it seems to be working well.
Thanks
John
