Soil Saver
I recently looked at a used Landoll Soil Saver and am considering purchasing. I am a part-time farmer (~230 acres rented) and currently use a Case 4800 field cultivator to work the ground ahead of the planter. My thought is that it will save fuel and time on the number of passes I normally make to work up ground in the spring. Also, the ground is not the greatest and am hoping it will do a better job of "busting up the lumps" and leveling off the ground for planting. Any input from anyone on this? Thanks!
