4440 with HFWD does most the work, bought this 3 years ago. We are all no-till so this is more power than we currently need. 3020 is the only tractor Dad bought new, 1972 if I remember correctly. We fixed this up last winter and presented to him in the spring, it looks new and he was very happy and suprised. Also have a 1939 M, still use this to push snow now and then. An H we used on the auger until we bought the 4440, now we use the 3020 for the auger. Dad has bought a few antiques over the years, JD B, and an A, and a few others are in the back of the barn. We fix them up as we get the chance. It is fun to watch peoples faces when you say the newest tractor we have is 30+ years old!

Counting even the ones in the barn that aren't used anymore, there is a whole bunch of deeres. There is a B, A, 730 diesel, 3010 gas, 4020 with loader, 4430, 4450, 4850 mfwd, 8400 mfwd, and an 8770. The ones we still use in the field are the 4430 and up. The others were my grandpa's and we never had a sale. Put 'em in the barn and instead of just a memory of them, they will be there to see and pass on down. They still see the auger or grader blade for the driveway every so often. They are unrestored, since that is the condition we used them in. Lots of hours on most of them too. The 4430 is pushing 11,500 and I think it is my favorite of the fleet.

7 Deutz tractors all from the 70s era, all still work nice, they do light work like pulling a drill or planter and rake hay etc., 3 have MFWD, a couple MF tractors, an 8140 and a 6499, both have MFWD, a Case 2670, a Case-IH 5130 with a loader, and a White 2-135 w MFWD which hauls poo. Have not run the 2670 this year except to move it once as everything it can do, the 6499 can do better. Should sell it, I guess, because it runs great.

We have a recreational fleet of Cockshutt tractors. My father used Cockshutt tractors, so it was what I grew up operating. Have a 1953 Cockshutt 50 diesel, a 1956 Cockshutt 40 diesel, a 1954 Cockshutt 30 and a 1958 Cockshutt 540 with a loader. I also have a 1958 Cockshutt 422 pull type combine that is all original, paint and belts. The set is complete with a 5 tooth cockshutt chisel plow.

The majority of the work however is done on our 300 acre crop and livestock farm by a 1961 John Deere 4010 (first tractor I purchased) with 148 loader, a 1971 John Deere 4320, a 1976 John Deere 4630 (only tractor ever purchased new), and a 1980 John Deere 4440.

The electronics of the new tractors today are nice, but I wonder how operational they will be 30 or 40 years from now. Will it be possible to have 50 year old antique tractors and equipment that is still operational from the new equipment coming off the line today? This equipment operates on either side of an Amish dairy with 8 work horses!!

we have mostly deere and a few odd ones. 1956 oliver super 77 gas, 1962 oliver 1600 gas, 1976 ac 7000, 1983 jd 4650, 1988 jd 4850, 1993 jd 7600, 2009 jd 6430 premium mfwd,  2011 jd 7330 premium mfwd ivt. used to have a 4430 traded it on the 7330. combine is a 1995 jd 9500 w/contour master and duals. silage chopper is a 1997 jd 6610.

My newest is my '69 JD 2020 with 48 loader. We also have dad's old JD B he has owned since I was a little kid, our grandpa's '41 Allis C he gave us and a '57 JD 520 that gets quiet a bit of work in the hay fields. The B needs some work and is currently not operational and my brother is tearing down the C for a restoration. He also plans to get my other grandpa's 8N and attachments. I'd like to get a 4020 in the next couple years or maybe an Allis 7000.

Go for a 4020. The 7000 is a POS IMO. It rides and drives like a **bleep** tank (aka rough). We run it on the TMR mixer so it gets used everyday. But it doesn't get used hard anymore.
