Trimble Field IQ System

I finally got the planter hitched to the tractor yesterday and finalized calibrating the Field IQ system. All I can say is WOW, this thing is amazing. Ok, maybe it is only comparable to some of their competitors products, but when you replace the factory original equipment, it is hands down better than what I was used too. Planting used to be my least favorite operation on the farm, with these new updates, it very well might become my favorite after this year.

Hey Shag -- had to google up the IQ system to see your NEW toy ,  lol   Looks pretty cool , are you going to use the variable rate on it ? and all the other feature's ?

Not this year, basically just using it for a monitor only. A little birdie told me to hold off on the hyd. Drive & electric clutches for a year if I could. No problem, haven't needed them thus far, what's another year. Don't know what's in the pipeline, but evidentially it's something my dealer buddy feels like is worth the wait. I'll keep you posted.

Maybe by midweek I'll get'r in the field. I'll post a little video if I can pull off a multitask moment.
