Versi 555
Looking at a 555 with 6500 hours. TPL and 2 speed PTO. Can anyone tell me something about these engines or faults?

it all comes down to how it was taken care of, if it`s like the 903, good motor in a tractor (IMO) bad motor in a truck, but subject to cylinder cavitation..keep clean anti-freeze and change filters it`ll go forever and a day, get lax and you`ll be cussing it.

Re: Versi 555
thAT is low hours for that age of tractor. I have some experience with versatiles and ours have been very reliable machines. My dad had one of the 555's in the early 80's , good tractor what i remember. Hydraulics on the older versatiles are not always a good match for todays requirements, but you know that. good luck.
