What was the greatest John Deere tractor ever built?
I posted a story about the greatest John Deere tractor models ever made which certainly stirred up some debate (from emails I've received) regarding what is considered "great."
My Number One greatest Deere was the Model D as it really put Deere in the tractor business (as opposed to the Waterloo Boy), was produced in huge numbers (over 160,000 Model Ds were sold) and was in production longer than any other Deere tractor model.
So I am very interested to hear what you have to say.
Is the Model D the greatest . . .or should that honor go to the Model A, the 4020, the 4440, etc.?

My vote is for the 4020.
