liquid vs dry fertilizer

We are looking for a corn planter--have always used dry fertilizer in the past but are considering liquid with no-till.  I am looking for pros and cons of each and cost comparison between liquid and dry.

Switched to liquid a while back...not for cost advantage.....mainly for ease of handling....pump into planter , instead of trying to shove the last third out of gravity box. Almost impossible to be on both ends of auger trying to fill planter.

I am set up 2by 2 on planter....most up here using liquid are using 3 to 5 gal. directly on the seed as a pop- up application.  John
