Re: 09/10 repeat
Do you really need to ask IH...it is mizzoukitty...it must be a bullish reference.
Data on the swings in nearby futures...
Low-9/10/09 @ 3.00
Epiphany High-1/8/10 @ 4.20
Low-6/10/10 @ 3.35
High-6/10/11 @ 8.00 Yes, almost exactly 360 degrees away from the low. That was an easy high to manage.

Re: 09/10 repeat
The basic question is always the same. How do we market using this information? Where do we put our money?

Compare carryovers of those years to our huge carryovers, If your a grain buyer, why bid prices up?

Re: 09/10 repeat
Everything is in the eye of the beholder I suppose.
Stocks now are virtually the same at 2009.
2009 stock/use carryout = 13% 1.75 Bil
2017 est @ 16% 2.35 Bil
About as close as it gets. S/U was much higher at 20% in 2004 right before the biggest bull in history.
One key difference is that in 2009 the global economy was clinging to the edge.
In 2017, the global economy is on fire. (might have to give Trump at least a little credit) :-) Sorry
for my off color remark ....
Bottom line is we have to grow another record crop every year. One of these years it won't happen.
I kind of like the 30th anniversary of 1988 as a good year for it happen.... 2017 has been pretty
similar to 1987.... so far
