Re: 12b gone and 11b in jeopardy.

Good Post JR!!!!

You guys crack me up!!! You don't want honest opinions on here. You only want to hear what you want to hear...... And that is that corn and beans are going higher!!!! I asked a simple question in reply to a comment made about end users and was lambasted for it. When everyone was calling for the markets to go higher on talk of frost, and how it was going to freeze on Sept., I said to hold on. It hasn't froze yet. I made my own weather comments and was laughed at and dismissed. Was told I didn't know anything especially about the weather. I've made comments on the crop. And was told I didn't know anything there either. Even had someone out taking pictures if the poor looking crops. Ignoring the good looking corn. So when you say you want honest opinions, I guess that really means you want honest opinions that match your own opinion. If you are going to post on an Internet chat forum, you better have a rain suit. Because sometimes the poop is going to come back at you.

That said, should wrestler made some of the comments he did? Probably not. But he is entitled to his opinion as much as anyone else. I've witnessed first hand the demise of a Internet chat forum. Guys like wrestler don't cause the downfall. What causes the downfall of these sites is the lack of diverse thought and opinions and ideas. Once you know how someone thinks on something especially if it is something you agree on, it becomes hard to post and have good discussion. The board then becomes nothing but a bunch of lap dogs, saying "yes yes yes".

Btw sorry for any spelling or grammatical errors. Typing on a keyboard the size oh half a graham tractor while unloading silage isn't the post why to post. 😉 🙂

And oh btw, we'll have 13 BBU corn crop, cause that's what USDA says we'll have. Even if we grow 12 BBU or 14 BBU. That's what the trade will trade..... 13 BBU.

This society we live in today is full of people who don't want to take responsability.  Lets just make everyone register with their real names and addresses and available only if you register!

Re: 12b gone and 11b in jeopardy.

Several big dairies(1000+ cows)expanding like crazy around here now that corn is going to be so cheap. That's good, corn flakes and the milk I put on them will be cheaper, and all those new cows producing all that extra milk should be able to chew through that extra billion bushels of corn no problem. So much for cheap corn flakes.

Re: 12b gone and 11b in jeopardy.

Cheap prices cure cheap prices? Kind of an inverse to the high prices cure high prices axiom we keep getting hit over the head with?

I hope it works the other way around, too. Let's all start chanting "demand reconstruction" just as enthusiatically as the bears were chanting "demand destruction"!

Honestly, if my soybean yield in my first field of soys mean much, central Iowa is gonna be really short on soybeans in the near future. I cut 80 acres, well most of it-I left a couple of acres of beans that were green yet that were replanted after the May 25th flood washed the seeds away. I think the others had a hard time emerging after that. If those small patches total 50 bushels when I go back and harvest them in a few days, the best I can possibly yield on that 80 is 29 bu/acre. Sad. We usually can grow 50-55 bu/acre beans around here, so this is gonna be hard on the cash flow. I do have insurance coverage, so that will make a big difference. I would rather not fool with those folks though. I have been hearing corn on corn yields of 80-120 bushels. Friends, this is central Iowa. This is 200+ bushel land. This is the neighborhood where land is selling in the $12,500-$15,000 range, or was. I find it hard to believe that yield flops like this don't matter.

Re: 12b gone and 11b in jeopardy.

Gonna restart this with a different thread.  Don't want to have wrestler on the bottom of this dog pile too long.  He probably starts out the first day of the season in detention.

I do smile at his entries then walk around them ----smile--, an Iowa "wrestler" with attitude,,,,, fitting ------ walk around, don't want to get dog bit.    But I appreciate his opinion when he expresses it, but don't like to have to wade through the barking.

Jen,
I posted targets on September 22. Reference the thread.
Tigger,
The bet was over/under 13b. You in or out, not gonna ask again. Reading comprehension must not be your strong suit.

Post something of significance than you might get a deuce. You obviously know nothing about agronomy 101. Keep posting copy and paste boy.
