I am in Iowa south of Mike m but north of MarkNCIA. Kossuth county. I used to farm in Eagle just on the clinton/ionia county line. Got goo friends in Dansville.so I know about where you are talking. Also my dad is originally from Union City my Mom is originally from the gun lake area. I am a MSU grad from 92! WEll I gotta go milk and feed some cows. Wish it would quit raining!

Po There sure is a lot of uncertainity out there. Sure glad last year was a good one to help weather a possible upcoming storm. But it could go either way. I will be out of $4.00 corn in another month for feed. Thinking of emptying the barn of about all the feeder cattle.
Yup Jr. I got the best prices ever the last 2 weeks for fats. Feeders way up there too. Could empty out, have a good down on a 40, not buy 7 dollar corn and wait till fall to buy more. Tempting...
