Re: 2011 marketing prospects: One hell of a game

Scarry part is knowin what the price will be when folks stop buying food!  I just can't imagine the stress that folks on fixed incomes or strict W-2 folks are going thru with the huge spikes up in food price.  SOmething is gonna have to give. Local gas station says diesel will be up ten cents in the morning. Gas as well.  I noticed that today Ethol went down.  That must mean that ethol demand is going down.

Re: 2011 marketing prospects: I'll go early

on some predictions.

The common people vs trickle down govt struggles ongoing in several countries will continue ( probably be 20 to 25 countries struggle with CHANGE of govts over the next 2 years).

The afore tends to keep most markets "edgey" to the high side.

( be a huge downward correction in crude when everyone figures out less economy even in those small Mideast areas is still LESS demand for oil )

Also govts trying to hang on that are totally relient on oil income have to "flush" oil at any price to try to buy back their game.

On wheat...it only took the globe one to 1.5 years to get "awash" in wheat too.

( if anyone can remember back to 09 )

I expect some record production..corn and wheat both in the usa.

On corn say 88 to 90 m acres harvested at 160 to 161 bu per.

Cotton is likely the most positive demand crop out there...should take it to just short of $4 ( $3.40 should be achievable).

Soy ...LOTTA demand, not enough production to faze demand even with record soy crops.

Thus steady to higher cash on em.

My thinking is China will be in BR with MONEY for toll roads ( to thus facilitate beans to the coast ).

Even if the toll was $1 per bu...it would be a great deal for all.

Toll will be more like 25 cents....That is an even greater deal for all.

Since so many folks on this site raise sheep...well that's why fat lambs are in spots now over $200 cwt.

I had previously thought $250 cwt in 011 would hold em...but it won't now.

$300 cwt could ...so they're likely going to a reasonable $275 cwt.

Good Luck.

Re: Notice the coincidence of the

product ( lamb ) to the growing ethnic changes of the times JR.

Interesting if you think about it.

Mostly India ( some china ) have had this sheep and goat deal bought out for a couple years now in the Pac Basin.

Looks like sheep, goat and lambs are going to be a Double or Triple valued protien as compared to the other protiens.

hmmmm.
