Write monthly guesses as to the size of acres and crops..............the only thing wrong with the big picture is those who produce crops have absolutely no job security and the con men have nothing to loose, whether they live in Des Moines, Chicago, of DC (and now I guess the corruption has spread to KC.
It is just a bad deal......... Consider......... What if we have tweaked the crop production machine to top proformance. Installed irrigation where it is dry and water diversion where its too wet. Developed equipment that is second to none(and made it idiot proof). When the engine blows, rod goes through the block, Levies that take decades to build give out, aquifers dry up, ....simply it rains too much or to little excessively, stays cool or too hot too long, we have protected ourselves against the little issues but the big ones we are not prepared for. We are loosing roads, dams, levies, ........infristructure that we have depended on since we actually had hand labor in the US. Built in our grandfathers days.
