220 miles
From here to north of Columbia, Mo. The hands down best crop of beans And corn I have ever seen, just uniformly fantastic. Even the Amish have many organic corn and bean fields that are as good or better than any of the traditional crops. $30 beans, $11.50 corn . For them.
Been marking that trip since 1989, Saw corn being harvested looked like irrigated Nebraska crops.

Re: 220 miles
Hobby,
Any idea where the Amish are selling their crops? Or are they just used internally for feed?
Thanks.

Re: 220 miles
Interesting. There are thousands of Mennonites in the Willamette Valley. They farm many square miles, mostly grass seed. They don't use horses like the Amish do. Very good farmers and definitely not organic.
