Evening chores wasn`t really bad at 0º, earlier yesterday pushing snow was about 10º.  But boy it cleared off and got 5 degrees colder than predicted.  Uff-dah!    But they say it`ll be 32º Tuesday 

When it`s that danged cold out you`re just thankful each time the furnace kicks on and there`s water at the kitchen sink faucet.  Insulated pumphouse with snow pushed up to it and (2) 250 watt heatbulbs, any colder and i`d wanted to turn the milkhouse heater on.

Sure glad I live on the south side of Podunk...we were a balmy -21.1f  this morning. The Cobett on top of the hill was open the one in the calf lot on bottom had a thin layer of ice to break. love that no energy bill thing on them.

There are 51 fans on the horizon to the north and they are not turning , no wind,, not a steady dependable electricity source. Kind of important in this weather.

If you haven't run your fan on the corn bins in the last 10 days might be worth a trip out tonight to do it if you're in a cold no precipitation in the air area.
