It's lights out for the winter wheat in KS and OK. The Low pressure system that develops is going to be pushed to the NE by an area of high pressure, and looks like it will porduce very little precip at this point let's call it (East 1/3 of KS, OK) 25% coverage of quarter inch, 40% coverage of a tenth of an inch.
For us up North still waiting for a chance to get on the fields, it doesn't look quite as promising as it did last night:
The weather maps have backed off on that warm SW weather making it very far into the midwest. We return to the cool NW flow out of Canada. Maybe our next weather update will be better. For now, it looks like the 6-10 and 8-14 day forecasts look accurate. Still cool and wet for the Northern Tier states.
