Looks like the overnight was up to flirt with the $7 level again...will we have a bullish stocks report to buoy up the markets to a new range? Or something neutral or lackluster and we retreat?

$6 or $8...which will it be?

JMHO the gov will get all the "bad news" out of the way now in late winter.  My new Guru says it`ll be good planting conditions this spring. So corn perhaps will break a couple bucks, you`ll hear "LDP`s this fall LoL LoL!!"  at that time will separate the men from the boys with a gift horse buying opportunity for end users. The Guru says cold wet summer and inflation kicks in for a possible pop up in the fall. If planting goes good and there isn`t a price break, Holy buckets! As said at the begining JMHO

I don't know what the price will be.  But for those wanting cheaper grains....here is a thought:

Sure looks like a market that is just beginning to hit its stride. I am sure I am not the only one wishing that my pre Sept 1 sales had been re-owned on paper.  I have not sold a single bushel of corn or soybeans since Sept 1, but was heavily contracted into my insured bushels prior to harvest.

Wishing that new crop sales soon get exhausted by those wishing to jump the gun so we can get a chance at some real money for the fall 2011 crops, too. Big Bob says to contract 100% on a good rally, and 75% of the soybeans, but to re-own them with out of the money calls. You know, I think that advice is generic...you can just throw it out there for any crop, any time, and no need to defend being wrong.

I don't know if corn makes it to the $8 level but it has been one heckuva ride so far.

Perspective.  Since I don't know where this bull market ends. 

Twelve oz. of soda weights .82 lbs.  So it takes 68 cans of soda to equal of bushel of corn(56 lbs.)  At the cost of forty cents a can, pop retails for $27 when figure in a 56# bushel.  Now if soda, which is not a necessity at all, is worth $27 per bushel...what should corn be worth? 

Where is the outrage on  the price of  a flavored can of water?  Where are the headlines, the newscoverage?

Would't this be a good time for the Government to suspend/postpone/eliminate the blender's credit on E.

Don't know if they can do it but I would, and it would end what they call the subsiday for burning our food and put the livestock guys on equal footing.

just a thought.
