A KEY stat (pod set) on beans guys....forget about conditions

Even tho most could care less what the usda says.......did you guys happen to notice or look at the pod set pecentage from the norm? I myself have scouted MANY fields to notice this without the usda having to show me it in print!  The key states are 1/2 to 2/3 of the norm!!  Now figure if this was NORMAL year at the stage your beans are currently in.....where do you guys feel the frost date SHOULD be to be able to escape any kind of damage?   I myself am thinking AT LEAST 2 months from now with good heat in this time period.  A September 20th kill would be very bad.....anything prior to that could be a disaster.      ......Now the second part, August is bean month right??  .....forecast????

Forecast for most of the corn belt - below normal temps, rain still favors northern tier of states.
