Funny you posted cowsout... Saturday morning my neighbor called. Had 75 Hereford cows in his creek bottom corn field. No idea who's they were or where they came from. Not many Herefords left around here. Turns out that a guy from 2 counties over rented some fescue with very little fence a few miles down the road. Naturally they made a lap around the place and wanted something tastier 😉 hate to have that guys new corn silage bill!

Today my beans are finally growing faster than the bugs and grubs can eat them. We really need some sunshine.

Oh good the sun finally came out. We picked up 1/2" of rain this morning. Tiles are barely running. Can't remember the last time we had a whole inch in one day. We'll need regular rain to feed this crop. Looks pretty good. Hit knee high on the 5th of June.
