A picture, so it happened
A neighbor was working his peat yesterday on the very hour that it became fit...using a Quad Trac. The second picture was me kicking up some dust couple weeks ago, a distant memory.

Re: A picture, so it happened
If there is no dust then my clay loam is not fit.
Should have taken a picture friday night when we went by a field that you could see the tire 'marks' from the first cultivation of a field.
Easy to see the trator tire marks running on angle across the field with rows planted square.
A little too wet and compaction from tractor visible.
Farm just down the road from me, BTO was in there and worked and planted about 2 days before I worked any ground.
Farm now ponds water more than others and looks like gravel, lumpy, and I am sure they are not easy to break lumps.

Re: A picture, so it happened
This is the same spot in that field that was planted May15th. In the corner is where the tires picked up the "mud".Normally the corn should be a foot high now. There`s 5 fields surrounding the farm, all bean stubble and "this" and another one are the only 2 fields planted.I thought it was a big deal to have gotten in the field yesterday, but at Church guys were saying "oh yeah, I planted beans yesterday...yawn".In the corn on the picture that corn is spiking to not yet emerged...if ever.

I think it was photoshopped. I can't believe this has really happened! *****(methinks those are supposed to mean sarcasm)
